Bruno van der Werve from Cisco has provided a sneak preview over at The Cisco Learning Network of a new product known as the CCIE Lab Builder. This will run on the exact same infrastructure as the actual lab exam, including the virtual devices (ie. IOL) and will also use the the web interface from the lab delivery system. Raymond Viscaina (Technical Leader) is hoping to launch the product late 2014.
It will be a cloud hosted platform allowing up to 20 devices.
No details of costs have been released as of yet, but guessing it will be based on a number of hours but could also be subscription based.
